2022-2023 Science Olympiad and MathCount Entrance Exam Information

Dear Rancho Families,

If you are interested in trying out for Science Olympiad or MathCounts for the 2022-2023 school year, please see the information below. Be sure to sign up for each test by using the link in the info sections.
 

Science Olympiad Test Try outs of Science Olympiad are May 13 and May 17  from 3:00-5:30pm in the Rancho MPR.  
You can bring a calculator and a pencil to the exam. No study/cheat sheets will be allowed. You only need to take the exams for the areas you are interested in (i.e. Biology or Chemistry, etc). Keep in mind, the more events you qualify for, the better your chances! Please complete this form so we can be prepared for the exams bit.ly/22-23ScienceOlympiadForm

MathCounts Test

For all students interested in trying out for the Mathcounts elective, there will be a try-out test on Wednesday, May 25th from 3:15 – 4:00 in the Rancho MPR.
 
Please fill out the Mathcounts interest form.
 
The test will have 20 questions, ranging in difficulty. The main topics are: Algebra, Counting and Probability, Geometry, Number Sense and Pre-Algebra.
