For students voluntarily quarantining

The district recently sent information regarding health and safety information for classes resuming January 4th. If your holiday plans included travel, please continue to follow all CDC and California Department of Public Health guidelines, including the recent travel advisory, which states, “Persons arriving in California from other states or countries, including returning California residents, should practice self-quarantine for 14 days after arrival.” While this is not mandatory, it is recommended to help prevent the transmission of the virus in our community and schools. If your student or a member of your household experiences COVID-19 symptoms, do not send your student to school and contact your physician for next steps. Thank you for your diligence in helping to keep everyone safe. We know missing school can be stressful. For students to continue their studies, assignments, videos, most lectures, etc are available on canvas. Any assignments that must be completed in person can be done when a student returns to campus. If a student typically receives copies for a particular class, these also continue to be available for pick up in the front office. We encourage students who are unable to attend in person, attend virtual office hours to get any questions they may have answered.
